Rasmus Elm

Rasmus Elm is Business Development Director at MATR, working across the business as the company scales. His focus spans new opportunities, commercial development and the many moving parts involved in taking a growing food company to the next stage.

Before joining MATR, Rasmus spent seven years in management consulting, most recently at Boston Consulting Group. He holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen. He experiments with lacto and yeast fermentation at home and has a long-standing fascination with competitive tasting, from wine to coffee. In 2012, he became Danish coffee tasting champion and went on to compete at the world championship in Vienna.

Favourite way to eat MATR: Cubed, marinated with garlic, ginger, soy and chilli, roasted in the oven and served on top of a steaming bowl of homemade ramen.
