Breakfast muffin

The American breakfast of champions, complete with all the juiciness and greasiness you could ask for – the MATR way.

Ingredients
  • 1 pack of MATR Patties
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices toast cheese
  • 2 English muffin
  • Ketchup
  • Hot sauce
  • Butter
Method
  1. Place a pan on your stove and turn it on medium heat.
  2. Cut the English muffin in half and toast it in some butter.
  3. While its toasting, mix some ketchup with hot sauce. Adjust to the level of spiciness you like.
  4. Once it is toasted, put a little bit of oil in the pan and cook your Matr burger on medium-low heat, seasoning it with salt and pepper on each side. After about 60 seconds, check if the patty is golden brown.
  5. When the patty is golden brown then flip it, add the cheese on top, and cook the other side until golden brown as well. Remove to a plate.
  6. Turn the heat to medium-high and put some butter or oil in the pan. Crack your egg in the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook to your liking.
  7. Spread some of the ketchup/hot sauce on both sides of the muffin, add your patty, then egg, and enjoy. Don’t forget the napkin!
